The old Dawes frame feels alive and flexes and absorbs bumps and it just glides along. Is it just me or are modern bikes not as good as what I have and love.......I would be a grumpy old man but my bike always counteracts it by putting a smile on my face. I rode that bike until I bought a Trek carbon in '98 or '99, and still ride it occasionally to remember what a "real" bike feels like.
